Pre-Recorded
We have been working with Sky since the early 1990s, producing
more than 100,000 minutes
of broadcast subtitles on pre-recorded programmes each
year.
The real challenge with a broadcaster like Sky is the
diversity of the programmes we subtitle. From comedies
to children’s programmes, dramas to documentaries,
sport to sci-fi - the list is endless. To deal with all
this we developed our own in-house style guides and we
apply them strictly across the full range of programming.
But it’s not
just about style.
Each of Sky’s programmes has its own dedicated and
loyal viewers who will accept nothing less than the best.
So, while all of our subtitlers possess excellent language
skills, they are also expert researchers, ensuring our
subtitles are not only accurate, but are also relevant
and entertaining!
