Founded in
1989, we are now the largest independent producer of subtitles
in the UK, producing high quality subtitles and subtitling
templates for just about every kind of media: live broadcast,
pre-recorded programmes, commercials, the Internet, DVD,
video, and cinema.
Pre-recorded Subtitling
We are justifiably proud of the quality and consistency
of our subtitles. This quality is a result of the experience,
professionalism and dedication of our staff. All IMS subtitlers
receive extensive in-house training, ensuring that the
subtitling produced is always of the highest standard.
This enables D/deaf and hard of hearing people to enjoy
programmes, films and websites as much as everyone else.
Live Subtitling
IMS live subtitling operations began in 1999. Since then
we have developed the industry leading live subtitling
offer for commercial channels. Our Live Subtitling Department
currently produces hundreds of hours of subtitles per
week for Sky, five and S4C.
